CHAIR-ITY

There is a unique fundraising campaign starting at Kitsilano Secondary School called the CHAIR-ITY event.

You can have a named plaque placed on one of the 350 new auditorium chairs for a $500 donation. All donors will receive an income tax receipt. The plaques can be on behalf of individuals, groups, events, or classes.

This campaign is to raise funds for KSSAA, all of which will be used to increase the principal amount that generates interest available for the annual school scholarships. The Vancouver Foundation manages all of KSSAA’s investments.

Given your support, Kitsilano students have gone on to post-secondary education, becoming successful alumni themselves. In 2019, by giving to the CHAIR-ITY campaign, you create a legacy opportunity with your name, while contributing to a young graduate’s post secondary education.

The plaques will remain on the seats for ten years, and after that, the plaques will be removed, and placed permanently on the wall at the auditorium entrance.
